Even as a child, I was obsessed with sports.

I spent as much time as possible as part of the crowds which cheered on amazing players in golf, hockey, basketball, baseball, football… you name it, I was there.

And then I found my calling. 

I often sat in the box seat with my family right next to the legendary Troy Aikman and Joe Buck as they announced games. Watching them broadcast hooked me in like nothing else. It was the perfect way to utilize my unwavering passion and deep knowledge of sports. 

I knew from that point on I wanted to be a sports journalist and reporter in nearly any capacity.

That’s the sort of position I’m seeking now. I recently completed my degree in journalism to complement my hands-on experience in article writing for FanSided, podcasting, and even an internship with 103.3 ESPN Radio. I know I’m ready to tackle my first full-time position in the industry.
